Terminals and Card Readers
Y Soft terminals are a key component in user authentication, security and print job management. All Y Soft terminals are designed, manufactured, tested on Multi-Function Printers (MFPs) and distributed by Y Soft directly. This ensures that the software and hardware components in the YSoft SafeQ solution are compatible with the MFP before they leave our premises.
Embedded terminals are part of the Multi-Function Printer (MFP) user interface. These software-based terminals support all device functions – printing, copying and scanning. Y Soft Embedded Terminals support a variety of MFP manufacturers and models including Develop, Fuji Xerox, Konica Minolta, OKI, Olivetti, Ricoh, Samsung, Sharp, Toshiba and Xerox . Our new browser-based interface gives users a fast, intuitive experience within the MFP device.
YSoft SafeQ Terminal Professional
Y Soft’s flagship terminal, The Terminal Professional, provides secure printing, print tracking of copies or scans by user or department. Designed with a color touch screen, it includes the ability for users to manage print jobs, save jobs as favorites and delete jobs – all directly from the terminal’s interface. The Terminal Professional also allows users to enter billing codes for project-based accounting.
YSoft SafeQ Terminal UltraLight
The Terminal UltraLight is designed for use in small and mid-sized organizations that require secure printing and/or accounting of prints, copies or scans by user or department. The Terminal UltraLight has two models. The UltraLight Print Terminal provides secure printing, print tracking and accounting. The UltraLight Print & Copy Terminal provides all the functions of the Print Terminal plus copy and additional functions.
Authentication cards are an easy and fast way for users to identify themselves as an authorized user with access rights to a printer with a single swipe of the card. The PIN or log-in method of authentication can still be used if the user does not have the ID card handy. You can provide your own cards or purchase cards from Y Soft.
Currently Y Soft offers EM125kHz, Mifare, HID Prox/iClass and Legic Prime/Advant cards. YSoft SafeQ supports a wide range of card readers with the ability to connect to almost any type of printer/MFP.
Y Soft can provide custom printing such as corporate logo, user name and other unique codes. In order to be printed, the card must be in one of the following formats: ISO CR-80 or ISO 7810 type ID -1 (85.60 x 53.98 mm).
